New upcoming movies I am looking forward to

Quite excited with all these fantastic movies coming out soon. At least the trailers are fantastic and I hope they do not disappoint. Just realised that most of them are action movies and are adaptations of popular comics.

Aurora

Ant-Man

Fanstastic Four

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

And of course:

Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens

This is the movie I have to watch on the big screen when it comes out.

BMW's new marketing direction

BMW TV is today launching it's expanded IPTV offering online globally following the successful two-year beta-phase at http://bmw-web.tv/. According to a report I received, their German webpage and its international site registered a total of more than 70 million video views.

They plan to roll out thirteen other local-language websites shortly.

In case you were not aware, they also have an official BMW YouTube Channel. This is all part of their move to attract online consumers.

Check out this "teaser" clip of their new concept car featuring what they call BMW EfficientDynamics technology. I put teaser inside quotes because it's kind of funny. You only get to see the tail lights for a few seconds.

Sing your troubles away

If anyone told you that the had no problems in their life, they are either lying or there's something wrong with them. Of course it varies from person to person. While some have really big problems, others on the other hand only have some quite minor one. The fact is totally free from problems.

Is that too philosophical?

Anyway, I was going through the GotTrouble.com directory, and realise that my problems might not be a big deal after all, looking at what some people have to go through. This directory gives solutions to common problems that people go through everyday.

I guess my problem comes under employment. And I even wrote a song about it:
Walking down the road,
searching for a job.
degrees coming out of my ears,
doesn't mean a thing.

It's terrible, I know. If you feel that you are more talented, check out GotTrouble.com’s Video Promotion. Put your pain into music, create a commercial for them and share it with the World on YouTube and you stand a chance to earn US$5,000.00 as a cash prize.

New hope for people suffering from Myopia

I have been wearing glasses for a long long time since I was in high school. I suffer from myopia or Nearsightedness, which means that I can see nearby objects clearly but distant objects are blurred. Wore contact lenses while I was in University but after stopped using them after I developed some complications.

I have thought of going for LASIK treatment after seeing a lot of my friend enjoying a life free from glasses. However, there might be a cure without going for laser treatment. According to this AP report, we might be able to get a 20-20 vision by wearing special contact lenses to bed.

Testing the Godin LG SP90

Our friends Mozard and Nana dropped by our house today. Mozard invited me to accompany to a guitar shop in Lemington Spa - Regent Guitars, to check out a Godin electric guitar. More specifically - the Godin LG SP90. It was pouring down and I was a bit worried that the place might be flooded. A call to the shop revealed that it was ok to go there.

The shop was not as big as I had imaged it would be. Richard, the Director took us downstairs to the basement and left us there with the guitar plugged in. Mozart got down to business right away.

Took this video while he was trying it out.

Mozard has been playing the guitar since he was a kid and really know his stuff. He thought the Godin LG SP90 was great. He recently sold off his Gibson for £750/ and was looking for an affordable but good guitar to play at home. Affordable does not usually go with good, but this seems to be it.

Mozard asked me to try it out but after watching him play, I was not going to even try my "I-am-sure-would-be-painful" rendition of Amanda by Boston.

Richard told us that it's price was £449/. However, Mozard had seen it going for a mere £300 (without shipping) on an eBay shop. That's a huge difference of £149. However, he's a bit wary of buying a guitar online without trying it out first. I can understand as £300/ is still quite a lot of money. Anyway, it was an interesting experience.

Lot of phones going to be homeless after the iPhone comes out

A recent survey report states that one-in-four (26%) potential smart phone purchasers say they’ll opt for the iPhone when it comes out. It's not surprising and I may be one of those guys.

There are loads of funny videos on the iPhone doing the rounds of YouTube now. I thought this one was hilarious.

My old Motorola might be hitting the road too. For iPhone Review and Video visit the site Whatgoodisyouroldphone.com

Google's massage manager

At first I thought it was a joke but found out that it's true. Google really has a Massage Programs Manager.

From their website, I learnt that Google’s massage program began in 1999 and it has become the most popular onsite perk in the company. So, if you thought that the only jobs available in Google were for IT people, then you are wrong. They are also looking for massage therapists too.

Hear what Babette, Google's Massage Programs Manager has to say:

Fresh food from Florida

When we talk about Florida, the first thing that comes to mind are the amusement parks, in particular the Walt Disney World Resort and of course the Universal Orlando Resort. However, Florida is much more than Orlando and amusement parks.

I too was surprised to learn that agriculture in the state is a is a $87 billion industry. Fresh food produce from Florida are sent to countries around the globe. Just shows how Florida's Farmers are making their mark on the World.

Just check out the video below:

Updated: 7 April, 2014

Watch this YouTube video of the Top 10 all time best game guns.

A long time ago, used to spend hours playing Contra with my friends, and the Spread gun listed here at ~ 8, was my fav too.

I don't really like first-person shooter games anymore but at one time, was really into Doom.

Kelantanese Crazy Frog

It was bound to happen sooner or later. There is now a Kelantanese version of the annoying Crazy Frog.

It is sung in the Kelantanese dialect in the Dikir Barat style.

For non-Malaysians, Kelantan is a state on the east coast of Malaysia. It happens to be the only Malaysian state ruled by the opposition Islamic party PAS. It is also famous in history for being the only state ever ruled by a Queen in the peninsula - Siti Wan Kembang.

Now for the clip:

Freak snow in Coventry

A lot of people had told me about the crazy English weather but I never believed it until today. Spring is in the air and the daffodils are blooming. It was bright and sunny in the morning and suddenly this afternoon, it suddenly started to snow.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there.

Best humour videos

Almost every day I will receive at least one e-mail from my friends and family, with a link to a funny video or a copy of the video itself.

Video hosting sites similar to YouTube have mushroomed all over the net. However, for every great clip there will be hundreds of clips that are not interesting or funny at all. In fact they are downright boring.

Found the perfect solution. CoolVideoClips.com searches the web for the funniest, best, and most amazing video clips. It save us time and energy (and of course money if you are on a dial up). And we don't have to waste time watching all the boring clips.

The site had an interesting clip of how celebrities look with and without their makeup. An example:

Check out the site and tell me what you think.

Cisco wifi products popular with businesses

Was talking about wireless or wifi network solutions with my friend who's a network engineer and discovered that their company uses Cisco products.

I was curious because I knbow of a few other guys who also use Cisco networking solutions in their office. This includes voip and video conferencing.

Cisco is one of the World's largest suppliers of secure networking equipment and network management for the Internet. Even though their products are comparatively more expensive most businesses prefer their products. Besides the high quality products, there is another reason for this - their great support.

While going through their site, I came across this video on the architectural approach in the data centre. In this 4 minute video, Dante Malagrino explains how their Network Architecture facilitates the adoption of new IT strategies. Check it out
